Void Worship
Finally a new song by one of my favourite doom metal bands. And what a song that is. I hope a new proper full length is in the making. It's about time!

Eighteen minutes of pure old school, creeping DOOM done proper...crank it up and enjoy! Here's hoping we'll eventually get another full-length from these Finnish doom masters. All hail the mighty midget!
Watching downwards from the clouded hills
Smoke is covering the early morning sun
Screams of those left to die are greeting me
I only breathe with ease when death burns inside of me
I remember old stories
Great warlords of forgotten years
Day is fading with cries of dying men
Shrine will rise where the church once before did stand
Deadly glow radiates from the rising moon
Once I took an oath I carry forever on
From the dawn of time through their death and pain
I have heard thundering voice call my name
Your time has come so lead their way
You have lost your sun, oh rider of the dark
None shall stand against thy sword
You were born to fulfill our omen of doom
Where we march the vultures follow
Men must die so the child of moon may rise
Skulls and bones lay upon the mighty thrones
At the gates where frost meets the scorching heat
Sun will fall and dawn will die
Turn to fires in my eyes
Queen of death once took my hand
‘Til forever dies I will pay the price
For her sacrifice
I live for her glory I die when she wills
I kill for her pleasure with her magic in my steel
Her power makes my heart beat my wounds will never bleed
I steal souls for her throne, I offer death my seed
We live as the men of god will die
Brought back for infernal life
We never grow old we never grow ill
We follow a final will
Ride 'til the day of judgment dawns deliver the iron law
Given the highest power of all
The crushing power of doom
Atop the hills where once giants dwelled towers rise to tear the clouds
Blackened earth weeps under siege of death where fallen cities lie in ruins
Maps and symbols point to this fateful day
New arrival of our lord
Neath the storming clouds the child of shadows’ rise
From the spawning pools of hell
Darkness reigns the dead queen waits
Holding my soul cast under her spell
Moonchild's eternal night
Sorceress of doom
Will rise

Nasty occult stoner doom. Those fuzzy riffs are awesome and the psychedelic vocals are insane. Put your headphones on, grab a bottle of beer and listen to this while you sacrifice your enemies. Sælzer Bub
This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
